Municipal Museums in Italy are an extraordinary heritage and a fundamental vehicle of cultural transmission. They are supported by their Municipal Administrations in carrying out dynamic and innovative activities.
A new integrated management of services provided to the public by the Municipal Museum of Natural History of Comiso – one of the most important museums in Italy – will begin from next 3 March 2023, coinciding with the 10th World Wildlife Day established by the UN. This initiative supported by the Municipal Administration is intended to further enhance and innovate the museum’s rich cultural offering.
Over the next eight years, two important companies that have established a Temporary Association of Companies (T.A.C) will work alongside the Museum’s management: Civita Sicilia – a regional branch of the Civita Group –working in the field of cultural heritage and activities, in particular in the management of museum facilities and networks, in the organisation of cultural events and exhibitions, and in the promotion and innovation of local areas; and Logos, one of the most important consulting organisations in Sicily. Over the years, they have expanded their activities beyond their core business – training and education – providing also planning and technical assistance to production chains and Local Authorities in support of local development. This T.A.C. avails itself of a prestigious technological partner, Orpheo Italia, a company of the French Orpheo Group, specialising in designing and producing visitor aids for different types of audience, as well as of three local partners: Fondazione Archimede (Istituto Tecnico Superiore), Legambiente Sicilia, and Sicindustria Ragusa.
